New Rubber Release Agent for Gaskets, Seals & Bushings

EZR 346 is a cost effective, semi-permanent release agent for rubber gaskets, seals, bushings, grommets and other types of molded rubber products. Huron Technologies' application chemists formulated the new, semi-permanent release agent to achieve several key characteristics:
  • Ease of release is the primary attribute. Even intricate shapes are easily released without pulling and tearing.
  • Multiple releases can be achieved. EZR 346 can support a production cycle of up to four hours before additional release is needed for certain applications.
  • Robust performance for different material types. EZR 346 is expected to perform well with all types of rubber but was specifically tested with polyacrylate and EPDM rubber. EZR 346 was effective at molding temperatures between 350°F to 400°F.
  • Water based and environmentally friendly.
EZR 346 is available in 5 gallon containers, 55 gallon drums or 275 gallon totes. Huron Technologies, Inc. provides standard and custom formulated release coatings for manufacturers molding parts from polyurethane, composite, rubber and concrete.
