Ecopac Power Launches the New Range of Mean Well AC/DC Enclosed Security Power Products
Ecopac Power has launched the new range of
Mean Well AC/DC enclosed security power products the SCP-35, SCP-50 and
SCP-75 series. Featuring energy saving and constant voltage output,
these power supplies are specifically designed for the security
industry providing battery charging as well as a direct AC/DC mains
supply.
The Mean Well SCP-series have been designed to meet all the requirements of security systems from access control, alarm systems and any application that requires battery backup. In addition, the SCP series will improve the working efficiency by up to 12% and is designed with low “no load power consumption” of less than 0.75W, the whole series has been developed with energy-saving as a priority.
The SCP-series have been designed to meet the requirements of the security industry with full universal input of 85-264VAC and up to 86% efficiency; they will operate up to 60°C of high ambient temperature with only free air convection. In a significant change from the normal design of enclosed power supplies the SCP-series are supplied with both terminal blocks and wires for output connection thus providing greater flexibility for installation engineers.
Additional functions include battery voltage detection, battery temperature compensation (by external NTC thermistor), battery polarity protection (by fuse), and protections for short circuit, overload, and over voltage. The Mean Well SCP-series complies with world wide safety certificates UL, CUL, CB and CE, and has been designed for applications such as security systems, access control systems, emergency lighting, alarm systems, and central monitoring systems.
