Only 3 Spaces Left for the One-Day Introduction to Steam Course
Following the success of its recent Steam Training courses in February, Bürkert is now offering further sessions focussing on steam technology. There is limited space left for the One-day Introduction to Steam Course, which is being held at Bürkert's Stroud headquarters on Friday 30th September 2011. The course is free. Catering, in the shape of free lunches for all attendees, is provided by Bürkert; and the company also provides all course participants with a copy of its authoritative Steam Site Guide Book, together with training notes to take away for future reference.
The one-day course will be run by experienced personnel from Bürkert's Global Steam Management Team. It is aimed specifically at end users in the UK and Ireland, who are involved in the design, installation, commissioning & service of steam systems in the industry.
Subjects covered during the course include: Fundamental Properties of Water, Language of Steam, Using Steam Tables, Pressure/temperature relationship, Energy Content of Steam and Steam Pipe Work Best Practices. In addition, attendees will also consider application challenges such as saving lost steam.
