Turck Offers High-Pressure Resistant Sensors in M12 Barrel

To keep up with advanced manufacturing technologies and the continuously shrinking sizes of applications, Turck is introducing high-pressure inductive sensors in an M12 housing. Previously available in an M18 housing, the introduction of the M12 high-pressure sensor series allows Turck to meet customers' evolving needs. The new offering is available in two lengths, 78 mm and 56 mm.

"We heard from customers, particularly with hydraulics applications, that a more compact high-pressure sensing solution was needed," said John Murphy, Product Manager. "The M12 high-pressure sensor provides an ideal solution for these applications without sacrificing any performance." The high-pressure M12 sensor series utilizes a robust stainless steel housing, suitable to withstand static or dynamic pressure up to 500 bar. The sensors offer a sensing range of 1.5 mm and carry an IP68 rating, allowing them to withstand demanding environments.

Product Benefits:
  • More compact solution to meet shrinking size requirements
