3.5MM A/V Jack SMT with Flexible Design

Tyco Electronics has introduced its circular 3.5mm A/V jack SMT (surface mount technology) with enhanced flexibility that can be tailored to specific customer requirements.

Boasting a flexible platform design featuring 3.5mm A/V jack versions with or without collar (otherwise known as behind the shell), with rectangular or round collar, with or without switch, etc., its flexibility allows for wide application in a large number of customer programs -- not only in consumer / mobile devices but also industrial and automotive industries.

Other features of the product include its minimized component count and use of low-cost contacts that make it cost effective while enhancing product quality.
