Foam Drawer Liners

Lista International Corporation introduces its Foam Drawer Liners, the perfect solution for protecting, identifying and controlling valuable tools and inventory.

Lista's shadowed foam drawer insert liners make empty compartments easy to spot, and protect tools or inventory from movement and contact with other objects in the drawer. The liner uses a 2-layer insert system: the upper blue foam liner cushions and protects tools and components in perfectly-shaped cut-outs, while the bottom yellow foam liner makes it easy to spot missing items. The foam drawer liners meet the specification for FOD/FOE Tool Control Programs. Each liner can be customized to hold the specific tools stored in the customer's storage cabinet drawer.

Available for all Lista drawer sizes, inserts can be ordered in self-cut liner kits, individual self-cut liners or custom-cut liners. Technical grade foam inserts, which do not off-gas and can be sterilized, are also available, as are inserts in conductive foam for ESD applications.

FUSE SIZING CONSIDERATIONS FOR HIGHER EFFICIENCY MOTORS

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved. However, if sizing at this level prevents the motor from starting, it may then be necessary to increase the fuse ampere rating and it then becomes important to know the NEC sizing limitations.
