Zero Phase Current Sensing Transformer for Earth Leakage Circuit Breakers (ELCB)

Zettler Magnetics, Inc. announces a new line of Zero Phase Current Sensing Transformers for Earth Leakage Circuit Breakers (ELCB). ELCB are widely used in the North American and European market for detecting whenever a difference in voltage between the in-house ground (water pipes, etc.) and a ground rod or the ground line from the electric company occurs.

Zero Phase Current Sensing Transformers have a primary conductor disposed thru the aperture region and a secondary conductor is wound on the annular core. ZETTLER Magnetics offers Zero Phase Current Sensing Transformers in different lead types, PCB mounting types, and wiring types.

Major applications are Residual current circuit breakers, Earth leakage protection switches, Leakage circuit protection breakers, as well as Leakage circuit protection plugs.

Required specifications to choose from are:
  •     Rated Current: 10A, 20A, 30A, 40A, 50A and higher.
  •     Input current (minimum current to trip the breaker): 11.25mA, 20mA, 22.5mA, 30mA, 100mA, 300mA or higher
  •     Output voltage: From 1 mV to 100mV
  •     RL: 100ohms, 270ohms, 1000ohms and higher
