Teledyne Relays Announces Series RF300/RF303 Broadband Relays with Diode Options

Teledyne Relays has introduced the RF300D/RF303D & RF300DD/RF303DD series. These ultraminiature broadband TO-5 relays, have internal discrete silicon diodes for coil transient suppression and polarity reversal protection. This feature reduces the number of external components needed to drive the relay as well as reduce PCB floor space.

Because the relays are hermetically sealed, they can be submerged in cleaning solvents during manufacturing processes.

They cover frequencies from DC to 6 GHz. The relays also are characterized by low energy consumption and performance over a wide temperature range of -65°C to +125°C.

The RF300 and RF303 are suited for many high-speed digital switching applications, including test and measurement equipment and high-volume semiconductor manufacturing test environments.

The RF300 employs a circular form factor; the RF303 is the sensitive version (low coil current).

The RF300 measures .370 inches (9.4 mm) in diameter and .275 inches (6.99mm) in height (excluding leads). It weighs 0.09 oz. (2.55g). The RF303 measures .385 (9.78mm) in height and weighs 0.16 oz. (4.5g).
