Littelfuse Introduces 807 Series TE Time-Lag Subminiature Fuses

Littelfuse, Inc. (NASDAQ/NGS:LFUS), today introduced its new 807 Series of TE time-lag subminiature Fuses, designed to provide overcurrent protection on AC circuits. The new Fuse series, with the fuse rated at 300VAC and best-in-class inrush current withstand capability, is designed to open safely under high fault current.

When making the announcement, Daniel Wang, the product manager for the 807 Series Fuses, noted, “With its compact design of only 7.5mm, the 807 Series Fuse is a smaller pitch alternative to 5X20 mm glass cartridge Fuses. What’s more, it gives designers the flexibility of either direct solder or plug-in versions.”

The TE 807 Series Fuse is ideal for use in ballast and commercial LED lighting applications.It is designed in accordance with the IEC 60127-4 standard.It has a high interrupting rating of 100A at 300VAC and high nominal melting I2t, which is the best in the industry. The new Fuse series is available in a broad current rating from 800mA to 6.3A. It is lead free and RoHS compliant and carries approvals from the cURus, PSE, and KC agencies.
