Hubbell Wiring Systems Introduces Work Surface Series Product Line

Hubbell Wiring Systems is pleased to announce their new Work Surface Series boxes as an expansion to their already-comprehensive product line of delivery systems. Available in a wide variety of configurations and styles, Hubbell Work Surface Series boxes deliver power and low-voltage service to work surfaces like conference room tables, podiums, desks and laboratory tables found in a variety of markets.

All models of the Hubbell Work Surface Series feature pre-wired power outlets. Each box is designed to accommodate a variety of keystone jacks or Hubbell iSTATION low-voltage connectivity to easily configure specific needs for voice, data, audio-visual and multimedia applications. To accommodate a wide variety of environments, Hubbell Work Surface boxes come in square lift-up, round pop-up, small flip-up, recessed concealed and grommet styles, as well as various mounting options like under table, work surface and flush mount. The new product line also features an Elite series of work surface boxes that offers a more aesthetically pleasing look for high-end spaces that require a superior level of elegance.

FUSE SIZING CONSIDERATIONS FOR HIGHER EFFICIENCY MOTORS

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays.
