OKI's Mono Digital MFP Receives HardwareMAG Gold Award in Singapore
OKI Data Corporation, an OKI Group company specializing in the printer business, today announced the receipt of Hardware Magazine's Gold Award, with a score of 9 out of 10 for its A4 mono digital LED multifunction printer, the MB491 in Singapore.
HardwareMAG started as an IT magazine serving the Singapore community since July 2001. Today, it has become South-East Asia's premier consumer technology publication with independent editions in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Indonesia, outside of Singapore. HardwareMAG prides itself for its top-notch in-depth reviews, thought-provoking feature stories and award-winning product comparisons, giving consumers in all five countries the power to make knowledgeable tech-buying decisions.
A compact desktop mono multifunctional product with print/copy/scan/fax/PC-fax functions, the MB491 combines outstanding software utilities, cost and energy saving features and a reverse automatic document feeder (RADF) as standard, all in one ergonomic and ultra-reliable device. And despite its size, the MB491 boasts 40ppm print speeds with 12k toner capacity for low cost per page, as well as a separate print cartridge and drum for better drum life utilization; all contributing to an overall low running cost for the user. This machine also offers a foreign device interface (FDI) and a secure print option to ensure confidential documents are read by the right person only, especially important where files are saved on a shared network folder. In many ways, the MB491 is specifically designed for large businesses or workgroups with high-volume use, where security is critical, and where office space is limited or at a premium.
HardwareMAG concluded, "In a nutshell, the MB491 is an excellent choice for an office that has relatively heavy-duty printing needs. More importantly, it prints very well, and is very sensibly priced."
As with the rest of the OKI product range, the new MB491 is based on the company's unique proprietary LED technology and this machine comes with a three-year onsite warranty in Singapore, which gives customers peace of mind and confidence in the robustness and reliability of their OKI device.
