Panduit Acquires Leading Energy, Power and Environmental Management Solutions Provider, Unite Technologies

Panduit Corp., a global leader in Unified Physical Infrastructure based solutions, today announced the acquisition of Unite Technologies Ltd. Unite specializes in energy management, power, security, and environmental monitoring solutions for the enterprise and the data center.

Unite Technologies’ expertise complements Panduit innovation in the infrastructure management space and expands Panduit Unified Physical InfrastructureSM based solutions for the enterprise and the data center environment. The acquisition will bring an end-to-end physical to logical view and unmatched management of the physical infrastructure to Panduit and Unite Technologies’ customers.

FUSE SIZING CONSIDERATIONS FOR HIGHER EFFICIENCY MOTORS

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays.
