Complete Cortex-M3/M4 Development Kit

The latest Keil™ ARM® Cortex™-M3-based MCBSTM32F200UME and ARM Cortex-M4-based MCBSTM32F400UME development bundles highlight the signal processing power of ST's latest series of powerful 32-bit MCUs and DSCs as well as the ease of programming and debugging with Keil's ULINK-ME debug adapter. The development bundles allow users to generate and test application programs for the STMicroelectronics STM32F207x series of MCUs and STM32F407x DSCs with the included MDK-ARM™ Lite edition.

Both boards are ideal for either consumer or industrial application development thanks to the inclusion of 2.4 inch color QVGA TFT LCD with resistive touch-screen. Users can also use the included sample code to test out the latest technologies including a 3-axis digital Accelerometer and digital Gyroscope as well a digital camera and microphone. Peripherals include USB 2.0 Full Speed and High Speed, USB-OTG, and USB Host as well as a 10/100 Ethernet port.

FUSE SIZING CONSIDERATIONS FOR HIGHER EFFICIENCY MOTORS

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
