Quality counts! Liquid Analysis in the Food & Beverage Sector

pH measurement

As a food producer, we realise that your key concern is product quality - which must be verified continuously and maintained at all times. pH measurement is a vital parameter for determining product uniformity and quality – and Endress+Hauser has the widest range to choose from! For standard applications such as pH control in cheese production where pH levels contribute to consistency, taste and shelf life or water quality control in soft drinks manufacture, we offer a range of glass sensors (PTFE, ceramic or open diaphragms), including the CPS71D hygienic sensor, that incorporate Memosens digital technology to offer interference-free measurement, time after time.

For applications where the presence of glass is prohibited, we offer a range of Memosens IsFET sensors characterised by their extremely stable PEEK shaft and their suitability for a range of media. Low-maintenance and high-performance, they conform to both FDA and EHEDG standards, offering the maximum in hygienic pH measurement. Fully sterilisable and autoclavable, they have a rapid response time at temperatures from as low as -15ºC to as high as 135°C, coupled with a high sensor stability. In turn, this extends calibration intervals and saves you both time and money.

Our Ceramax CPS341D digital pH electrode couples the latest developments in hygienic design with outstanding durability (even in acids). Made of shatterproof pH-sensitive enamel, the sensor is extremely robust and is even suitable for the high temperatures of CIP/SIP cleaning. Versatile and reliable, it can be mounted directly in the process at any angle – even upside down - and offers reliable pH measurement even in thick, high viscosity fluids such as treacle, syrups, jam and pastes!
