Non-Contact Displacement Measurements

The new laser displacement sensor optoNCDT ILR 1030 can be used in many applications and offers particular benefits for customers. In the wood processing industry the sensor is able to measure passing wooden boards due to its extreme high measurement speed. It can be applied in the foodstuffs industry under up to -30°C in cooling systems. Further possible applications are the position measurement of trolleys on cranes and high bay warehouses, measurement of stacking heights, fillings levels, diameters etc.

Thanks to special evaluation algorithms, the sensor is insensitive to ambient light impacts and even allows the measurement against illuminants. The measurement is very stable, the sensor is hardly affected by dust, fog or changing temperatures. Even changing surfaces of the measurement object are hardly irrelevant.

The larger sensors of the product group optoNCDT ILR measure up to 150m, 3000m respectively and have a robust metal housing. Thanks to an integrated heating, the sensors can even be applied outside at minus temperatures. They are considered as the industry standard and are used for many applications relevant to safety.
