New Milling Grade GC1040 Tough Enough to Stay Sharp in Stainless Steels

Sandvik Coromant launches a new milling grade, GC1040, on October 1st. In the extreme tough machining of austenitic stainless and duplex materials this a grade you can rely on to perform securely with consistently sharp cutting edges, low forces and slow wear.

Our first-choice recommendation for shoulder milling with small diameters in fine to medium roughing, this grade is ultimately secure in unstable conditions and safe for unmanned production, time after time.

Grade GC1040 is available for a broad range of CoroMill cutters.
