Dormer Demonstrates Composite Tooling Expertise

To help companies manage the transition from the use of metal to composites, Dormer has established a Research Centre for composite tooling, which the company will highlight at Southern Manufacturing. The first tangible results for the centre will be showcased at Southern Manufacturing 2011, where the company will be exhibiting a range of products encompassing handheld and CNC tooling applications, including carbide and PCD drills, reamers, countersinks and end mills.

The company also offers a reconditioning and regrinding facility. At Southern Manufacturing 2011, representatives from Dormer will be available to suggest ways in which the company can help solve specific tooling problems, improve tooling life, improve productivity and reduce cost per part.
