A/V Jack SMT for Consumer/Industrial Applications

Tyco Electronics has introduced the circular 3.5mm A/V jack SMT (surface-mount technology) for application in consumer/mobile devices as well as industrial and automotive industries. The product features a flexible platform design featuring 3.5mm A/V jack versions with or without collar (otherwise known as behind the shell), with rectangular or round collar, with or without switch, and so on.

Other features include a minimised component count and use of low-cost contacts that make it cost-effective while enhancing the product quality.
