Seminar Dedicated to UK Offshore Wind Industry
The National Metals Technology Centre (Namtec) has organised a seminar dedicated to the opportunities available in the offshore wind industry, set to take place on 8 December 2010. The half-day seminar will be held at Cedar Court Hotel, Wakefield, and will begin at 08:30. It will start with an introduction by Alan McLelland from AEM Yorkshire to the offshore wind sector in the UK.
Keynote speakers include industry figures working in the renewable energy divisions of Siemens Transmission and Distribution, Able UK, David Brown Gear Systems and the MTL group, along with representatives of Yorkshire Forward and Mainstream Renewable Power. The event will also provide an opportunity for manufacturers to network with other suppliers in the offshore wind industry to look at the opportunities for collaboration and to share best practice.
