Line Laser can be Focused without Tools

Capable of being precisely focused without the use of any tools, the Flexpoint MV Focus line laser features a homogeneous power distribution and a counter screw to prevent accidental readjusment. It has a line width of 40um at a distance of 50mm or 550um at a distance of 1m. Power supply is via an industrial standard four-pin M12 connection and operating voltage is 4.5 - 30VDC. Using an internal power control, the brightness of the module remains unchanged within this voltage range.

The laser is protected against reverse polarity and the housing is potential free, meaning other electronic components mounted on the same board remain unaffected. Fan angle (typically 5deg-90deg), wavelength (635nm-905nm) and output power (5uW to 100mW) can be adjusted across a wide range to meet customer's needs. To modulate and increase independence of ambient light or to dim the output power, the lasers can be equipped with a control wire.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays.
