Load Securing System with Stretch Hood Technology

Chronos BTH now offers the Chrono-Stretch Rainbow - a stretch hooder that combines the weather protection and load stability of shrink wrapping with the economies of stretch wrapping. Chrono-Stretch Rainbow is a universally applicable pallet load securing system based on stretch hood technology to secure different types of stacked loads to a pallet. The system guarantees optimum product safety by protecting it against humidity, UV and other weather conditions, as well as against the danger of cargo shift during transport; without the need to incur costly energy expenditure normally associated with shrink wrapping.

Chrono-Stretch Rainbow can be used for containers, bags, boxes, bottles, cans, trays, big bags, octabins, barrels and loose products. The system can be used in all industrial segments and is currently used in the food, feed, agriculture, chemicals and minerals industries. Features of the Chrono-Stretch Rainbow include: output from 40 up to 120 pallets per hour; pallet sizes of 600 x 800mm and 1,200 x 2,500mm (others on request); uses gusseted PE-stretch endless tubular foils; and elasticity of foils is up to 200 per cent.

The system offers: UV, water and dust proof packing; stable fixation of load on pallet preventing cargo shift; transparent hood for visibility of the product; constant packaging costs; reduced film usage; and low maintenance. Options include two-colour continuous printing of foil for logos or company details.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays.
