JBJ supplies thermostats with Atex certification

JBJ has announced that its TRI type thermostats are Atex certified by the manufacturer in accordance with the requirements specified within directive 94/9/EC. The thermostat's probe is protected on the TA model by an external sheath, while models TR and TS are protected by a double sheath - the internal one is for explosion-proof equipment while the external one is a watertight sheath.

The 94/9/EC Atex directive is in accordance with the following standards: EN 50014 (1997) + A1 e A2, EN 50018 (2000), EN 50281-1-1 (1999) + A1. Type of protection include II 2 GD EEx d IIB+H2 T6 IP65 T85C and II 2 GD EEx d IIB+H2 T5 IP65 T100C. The ambient temperature operating range is -20C to +40C and -20C to +60C.
