Thorite Offers Modular Condensate Discharge Units

Thorite has introduced the Bekomat range of modular condensate discharge units, which can be used to remove water and oil contaminants from compressed-air installations. Three models are available - Bekomat 31, 32 and 33 - dependent on system capacity, although each model incorporates similar design features. These include fast installation and maintenance, as the complete replacement of all wearing and pressurised parts is achieved with just one quick-release connection.

Each Bekomat unit operates on discharge according to demand for energy savings and there is no need to install seals or components as there is only one replacement part, pressure and function tested by the manufacturer. The condensate housings are constructed from corrosion-resistant aluminium for durability. The Bekomat 32 and 33 models include an alarm function and 'relayable' trouble indication, while the 33 version also enables the removal of the service unit from the power supply and condensate receiver tank via quick connectors.

This means that the preliminary tank always remains connected to the compressed-air system. The new Bekomat range can be ordered online via Thorite's National Distribution Centre for next-day despatch or from any of the company's nine regional sales and service centres throughout Yorkshire, Lancashire and the north east.
