Cadac Webinars Focus On Project Document Control

Cadac Organice Americas, distributor of Cadac Organice, has organised a webinar series around the theme 'Sharepoint meets Engineering'. Starting on 23 September, the topic for this webinar will be 'Document Control with Sharepoint for Owners and Operators'. In a 45-minute presentation, Cadac Organice focuses on managing an as-built repository, running engineering projects and collaboration with vendors using a Sharepoint-based infrastructure. This webinar series will showcase solutions for product document control and asset management and include a review of specific-use cases of interest to owner/operators, EPCs and manufacturers of complex, made-to-order products.

Cadac will also discuss the extensions it has added to Sharepoint to enable drawing management, transmittal management and concurrent engineering. The webinar schedule is: 23 September - Project document control with Sharepoint for owner operators; 7 October - Engineering drawing management for owner operators; 28 October - Sharepoint and concurrent engineering; 18 November - Risk mitigation for project document control; and 9 December - Controlling engineering standards and projects for manufacturing.

A Class I Division 2 is a location: (1) In which volatile flammable gases, flammable liquid-produced vapors, or combustible liquid-produced vapors are handled, processed, or used, but in which the liquids, vapors, or gases will normally be confined within closed containers or closed systems from which they can escape only in case of accidental rupture or breakdown of such containers or systems or in case of abnormal operation of equipment, or (2) In which ignitable concentrations of flammable gases, flammable liquid-produced vapors, or combustible liquid-produced vapors are normally prevented by positive mechanical ventilation, and which might become hazardous through failure or abnormal operation of the ventilating equipment.
