3D Mice Support CAD Modelling Software

3Dconnexion's line of 3D mice now supports 3D CAD modelling software PTC Cocreate Modeling 17.0 and Personal Edition 3.0, and the Graphisoft ArchiCAD 14 3D architectural design software. 3Dconnexion 3D mice are designed to provide professionals working in these applications with a level of design interaction that is unattainable with a traditional mouse and keyboard.

Using a 3D mouse, professionals are able to design more intuitively and with precise control, helping to enhance design performance for teams facing time-to-market pressure and varying design requirements. When working in ArchiCAD 14 and Cocreate Modeling 17.0 and Personal Edition 3.0, the 3D mice offer navigation attributes that allow designers to simultaneously pan, zoom and rotate as if they are holding the imagery or model in their hand. The patented six-degrees-of-freedom (6DoF) sensor is capable of detecting input as small as four micrometers for smooth and natural control.

Programmable buttons provide quick access to commonly used application commands, enabling designers to better focus on their models. Increased design performance enables professionals to focus more on visualising imagery or models, aiding the detection of critical issues. The entire 3Dconnexion product line is compatible with these applications, including the Professional Series with the Spacepilot Pro and Spaceexplorer, and the Standard Series with the Spacenavigator and Spacenavigator for notebooks.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays.
