Leaf Disc Filters To Aid Packaging Film Production

Lindauer Dornier, a manufacturer of polymer film production lines, is to use leaf disc filters from Porvair Filtration Group to filter polyester melt prior to making packaging film. The leaf disc filters are claimed to provide excellent filtration performance that ensures high-quality film products.

They are designed to operate at high flow rates and offer a long on-stream life with reduced polymer degradation. Featuring a strong construction, Porvair leaf disc filters can be cleaned and reused many times without a loss of performance or efficiency.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays.
