NEW: Universal EMV Shielding for All Control Cabinet Types
LÜTZE introduces EMC shield bus for all common switching cabinet widths and types.
Friedrich LÜTZE GmbH & Co. KG, Weinstadt, introduces a universally employable EMC shield rail for control cabinet construction. What is special about this: The rail is supplied as a continuous length and can be cut to the individually required frame width with only a few hand movements. The surface-galvanised sheet steel of the EMC shield bus from LÜTZE offers optimal EMC characteristics. The new EMC shield bus is offered in the basic length of 1173 mm. This dimension is right for installation in a 1200mm-wide cabinet on the cabinet frame, for example. For other cabinet widths or other installations, the rail can be individually cut to length in no time (if desired, LÜTZE will do this using a configured punch). The shield bus can be universally used for all customary screen fasteners from Wieland, Wago, to Phoenix and Weidmüller. On the rail, the stripped wires in the contact area are connected metallically over a large area by means of clamps. Readily available standard clamps can be used for this. The large stampings in the lower row are designed for cable clamping collars for strain relief. And so cable clamps, e.g. NIDAX, can also be used for clamping supply lines in shielded and/or unshielded design.
In practice, the LÜTZE EMC shield bus is fastened via spacing rollers, brackets or direct on the support rail. The holes required for this are quickly completed. To simplify this, the rail has a marking aid in the upper third for the required holes. To fasten and securely install it, an M8 screw in the appropriate length should be used. Since the rail with front installation lies on the legs, twisting in the case of strong loads with cable clamping is essentially impossible.
