Nor-Shipping More Popular Than Ever
The Nor-Shipping 2011 trade show reached a new record with 16,235 visitors coming to the exhibition venue, an increase of 4 percent from the previous event two years earlier and the largest turnout since Nor-Shipping began in 1965. The main focus for Beijer Electronics participation was put on iX and maritime HMI, including products from Beijer Electronics Inc and Automations other product portfolio.
The international customer presence, with exhibitor delegates from 54 countries, called for a global approach regarding planning and staffing in order to serve our customers in the best way. As a result of all our international contacts, part of the leads was handed over to Bob Chunko, Rinchard Ainley, Arnaud Kurowski, Erik Odhed and Nikolaus Bischof who also was present at the fair.
A total of 100 leads were achieved during the five days tradeshow. Besides the ones generated at our own stand, leads were also generated by contacts with other exhibitors. All leads will be prioritized and followed up locally.
