News About PoweRamp Dock Levellers

In the last months, continuous research of the dock levellers has led to various improvements in the PoweRamp product range. A low transport height is introduced; new pit systems have been introduced; new options have been added.

The low transport height
The low transport height has several benefits that are listed here below. The benefits are also illustrated by a photo and a drawing.

The costs of transport are lower because the transport height of the levellers is reduced: to ± 380 mm for the PoweRamp 232M and ± 475 mm for PoweRamp 233M. Stacks of 6 units 232M are possible on a truck. Up to 50 % more levellers can be loaded onto a truck. Stacks of 5 units 233M are possible on a truck. Up to 66 % more levellers can be loaded onto a truck. The drawing here below shows you how to load a truck with 30 pieces of 232M-010!

The low transport height increases the stability of the stacks on the truck during transport.
The installation time for a leveller packed in low transport height will take approximately 2 hours which makes the installation time shorter.

When the leveller is placed in the pit, the tear plate automatically levels with the curb angles of the pit which makes the installation easier.

The amount of packaging materials (such as clamps, tubes) can be significantly decreased for the low transport height dock levellers.

The PoweRamp 232M and 233M will be produced with the same rear frame which ensures uniformity in design.

New pit systems
Four new sub frames have been added in order to complete the pit system program: pit 360, 370, 375 and 380. The four pits are all hang-in frames. For more information about these new pit systems, you can contact Loading Systems International BV.

New options
Several new options have been added to the program of the PoweRamp dock leveller:
  • some tab sequence equiv in htmlfixation plates;
  • some tab sequence equiv in htmlair seals with brushes as an addition to the air seals of PVC.
