New Glass Filter Now Available for NoIR LaserShields
NoIR have expanded their LaserShield laser protective eyewear range to include the FG1 glass filter, offering a robust solution with high protection levels over the wavelength range 850nm - 10,600nm and excellent visible light transmission (VLT).
To date the NoIR laser safety glasses have incorporated polycarbonate filters, offering protection in a light weight and cost effective solution for use with an extensive range of laser systems ranging from high power CW to ultra-fast, short pulsed systems. With the introduction of the FG1 glass filter, NoIR can now offer customers the choice of even higher protection levels combined with 75% VLT, in a robust and durable frame style.
The FG1 glass filter offers high levels of protection over the wavelength range 850nm to 10,600nm, with a maximum OD of 7+ over the spectral range 1010nm to 1500nm and excellent thermal stability.
The FG1 filter is currently available in frame styles 11 and 37, both of which are modern fit-over styles which feature top and sideshield protection. All NoIR LaserShield frames carry a lifetime guarantee and are certified to the EN207:2009 European standard.
