Aaxeon Releases New 16-Port RS-232 to USB 2.0 Adapter

Aaxeon Technologies is proud to announce the release of our new 16-Port RS-232 to USB 2.0 serial adapter featuring screw locking capabilities. The new UTS-416AK is a serial adapter, designed for PC, thin client, or a server, providing instant COM port expansion via the Universal Serial Bus. The unit supports screw lock features for the upstream (USB type B) connector using screw locking USB cables. This feature prevents accidental USB cable disconnection.

The UTS-416AK provides the scalability to quickly adapt to new USB technology. Multiple modules may be added to a single USB interface allowing the user to add RS-232 connectivity as needed. Moreover, the UTS-416AK has Redundant Power Inputs allowing users to take advantage of both the DC jack and Terminal Block inputs at the same time. Our complete product line offers many choices to help the user expand their network using specific requirements.

With the USB Plug-and-Play feature, simply plug in the unit and follow the instructions of the Install Wizard. No unnecessary dealings with Card Slots, I/O addresses, IRQ jumpers, DMA, or other settings required when connecting devices. The system recognizes devices and installation of the drivers is automatic. The UTS-416AK is an ideal solution for your expanding applications.
