Humidity Sensor Delivers High Temperature Accuracy

Sensirion has improved the temperature specifications of the SHT21 humidity sensor, extending its temperature range of 25 to 42C to a much wider 5 to 60C for the tightest typical accuracy of +/-0.3C. In addition, accuracy at the limits of the measuring range has been improved.

According to Sensirion, this enables customers to benefit from significant product improvements with unchanged pricing. It is further claimed that, along with long-term stability and low power consumption, very high precision can now be achieved over a temperature range suitable for many applications.
