Multi-Channel Transmitter Features ISM
Mettler Toledo has introduced the M800 transmitter, which is designed to improve the management of measuring systems through smart and predictive maintenance. A multi-parameter, multi-channel device, the M800 transmitter features a full-colour touchscreen display and simple menu structure to facilitate easy handling and operation. It also features Intelligent Sensor Management (ISM), which reduces sensor maintenance and offers diagnostic tools that are claimed not only to increase sensor lifetime, but also to improve the performance and reliability of the complete measurement system.
Predictive diagnostics tools, such as the Dynamic Lifetime Indicator (DLI), Adaptive Calibration Timer (ACT) and Time to Maintenance (TTM) indicator, are clearly displayed via the Imonitor feature. The DLI, ACT and TTM enable the user to keep track of the most important information on the state of the measuring system. Warnings and alarms are colour coded and clearly displayed.
The M800 transmitter can monitor pH/ORP, conductivity, amperometric oxygen (DO as well as O2 gas) and, depending on the type selected, optical DO, ozone and flow. The M800 transmitter series includes models with up to four channels for measurement of the same or different parameters, depending on the sensor installed for the application.
