CoroMill 327 and 328 Grooving Cutter

For use in internal machining of eccentric components e.g gearbox casings, high volume assembly, mainly on machining centres.

  • A universal cutter for use in all materials PMKNS
  • Sharp cutting edges for high quality grooves
  • One grade; PVD coated GC1025 for all materials
  • Multiple edges for high productive economic machining

Operations:
  • Internal grooving
  • Slot milling
  • Threading

CoroMill 327

  • Inserts for grooving/circlip, widths 0.7-5.15 mm.
  • Chamfer inserts, Dmin 12 and 22 mm.
  • Inserts for both circlip and chamfering in one operation, widths 1.1–4.15 mm.
  • Full radius inserts, widths 1–4 mm.
  • Internal circlip grooving, thread milling and slot milling applications
  • Comes in four different sizes of cutter with three and six effective cutting edges for high metal removal rate
  • Insert size 06 gives access for smaller holes and highest table feeds
