USB and Bluetooth Interrogator is Fully Portable

GAO RFID has launched its integrated USB and Bluetooth reader, a cost-effective tool for field use that can operate either in wired mode through the USB connection or in wireless through Bluetooth. Part of GAO's UHF RFID Readers range, model 236021 is a multi-protocol USB and Bluetooth interrogator that is compliant with ISO 18000-6C (EPC Class 1 Gen 2), ISO 18000-6B and Philips UCODE EPC 1.19 standards. It operates at a frequency of 869.525MHz for Europe or 902MHz for North America and is designed to have an ergonomic, compact and lightweight design.

The battery-powered handheld reader may be used with Bluetooth-enabled devices such as computer, smart phone or PDA for proximity reading. It features a built-in antenna providing for a wide effective read range. Endurance tests have shown that it can withstand multiple drops of 1.8m to concrete.
