CJD Chooses Hiqube for Information Management

CJD (Christian Association of Youth Villages) has chosen Hiqube, a business intelligence and data analytics solution for guided decision making, as its management information system (MIS). The 9,000 employees of the CJD support 150,000 challenged young people and adults with training and development work for their individual life situations. The CJD will use Hiqube to aggregate and manage information from various data sources to perform advanced analytics and publish interactive reports to monitor key performances across its finance, human resources, customers, market, competitive research and general business development functions.

Initially, the system will be used by management and controlling personnel at the association's headquarters for reporting and data entry. In a follow-on phase, the technology will be rolled out to all departments and regions of the association. The implementation will be handled by Altair and its German implementation partner, Insight Dimensions. Hiqube provides analysts and controllers with the powerful functionalities enabled by its multi-dimensional data engine via a new web-based 'self-service' application.

It includes customisable dashboards, efficient hierarchical data management and an integrated numerical optimisation engine for complex 'what-if' analyses. As a result, users are able to analyse a variety of key indicators and rapidly and easily generate important tailored reports including diagrams, detailed background information and comments, as well as alarm systems - almost in real time.
