LMS Adds Input Modules To Testing Portfolio

LMS has extended its testing portfolio with the SCADAS Mobile 02 input module for day-to-day usage in the field or laboratory and the E-series module for demanding advanced engineering applications. The latest LMS SCADAS Mobile 02 with its 16 channels is a compact and lightweight data acquisition front-end, designed to be rugged and portable. This new mid-sized front-end can be directly connected to numerous noise, vibration and strain transducers as well as the CAN bus system for streamlined test data.

It has a built-in GPS receiver that delivers instant and accurate input regarding time, speed and position. The modular LMS SCADAS Mobile 02 two-slot mainframe can be set up in a master-slave configuration with parallel signal processing to cover high-channel-count tests. Designed to take the tediousness out of test setups, the new E-Series signal conditioning input modules eliminate manual input range settings and trial-and-error channel setups. Working with the LMS SCADAS range, the E-series will not only speed up the test setup process, it will also reduce errors by giving advanced light-emitting-diode (LED) measurement quality feedback on the hardware itself.

The E-series signal conditioning input modules offer a true 150dB dynamic range and a 204.8kHz sampling rate. With this new hardware technology, experts can accurately measure a variety of applications and provide signal conditioning for voltage, ICP, charge, bridge, digital audio and conventional microphone transducers, all without an auto-ranging procedure.
