Atex Cylinder Sensor Certified For Hazardous Areas
IFM is offering the electronic Atex cylinder sensor, which is certified to the highest category 1G/1D for Zones 0 or 20 hazardous areas. It can be used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in silo applications, lifts or mills. The 6m-long cable is provided to reach a control panel in a non-hazard location. The connecting cable can be cut to length for flexible instrallation.
The MK502A can be inserted into the T-slot from the top and is thus installed quickly and easily. The solidly moulded housing is secured by a stainless-steel fixing that, at the same time, serves as strain relief. If needed, optional adapters allow the T-slot sensor to be fixed to all common cylinder types. IFM also offers a range of corresponding switching amplifiers for these Namur sensors.
