Wireless Ceiling Access Point for Indoor Tasks

Ethernet Direct has launched the Falcon FWI-761 industrial 802.11n and 2.4GHz 802.11b/g indoor wireless ceiling access point for factory floors and industrial offices requiring aesthetic design. The FWI-761 is compact and lightweight and designed with compliance with the latest 802.11n standard. It is also compliant with the 802.11b/g operations.

The FWI-761 can be configured as AP, repeater, and WDS (PtP or PtMP) operating mode and the advanced Mimo technology increases coverage with the high data rate up to 300Mbps (2T2R). A built-in printed omni-directional antenna is included for flexibility in installation and the support of Mimo technology makes the FWI-761 suitable for indoor environments. The FWI-761 comes with 64/128-bit WEP encryption and WPA/WPA2 (TKIP/AES) functions.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
