IronCAD Software Translates CAD Data
IronCAD has announced the release of the IronCAD Design Collaboration Suite (DCS) 2011 Translator Bundles to enable users to communicate design data throughout the design process. The DCS Translator Bundles are said to offer native CAD formats at an affordable price across the suite of collaboration products in addition to the large set of standard formats delivered with the Design Collaboration Suite product.
The Translator Bundles apply to the components of the IronCAD Design Collaboration Suite, consisting of IronCAD, Inovate and, the latest addition, IronCAD Draft. Capabilities and support for the Translator Bundles include: IronCAD-Trans and Inovate-Trans.
There is a native CAD translator to run alongside IronCAD or Inovate respectively, providing read/write capability for Catia and Pro-E, as well as read capability for Unigraphics/NX, Solidworks and Inventor. There is also a native CAD translator to run with IronCAD Draft, providing read capability for Catia, Pro-E, Unigraphics/NX, Solidworks and Inventor. This provides a solution for 2D users wishing to collaborate with 3D data. The IronCAD Design Collaboration Suite 2011 Translator Bundles are available now and an evaluation copy is available for download.
