Flir Systems Hosts Building Thermal-Imaging Events
Flir Systems recently held a series of regional events featuring presentations on the growing importance of thermal imaging in building science and energy management. The company said it is very happy with the outcome of the roadshow, which attracted in the region of 350 delegates. Flir said that of all the application sectors for its thermal imaging, building is one of the most dynamic, and its range of building thermal-imaging cameras and application-specific software have become the industry standard for many individuals and companies in this sector.
The choice extends from the compact point-and-shoot thermal imaging cameras through to expert models with analysis and reporting functions. The majority are also Meterlink-enabled, a wireless communication facility that allows the Flir thermal imaging camera to capture readings from a remote clamp meter or moisture meter. Andy Baker, UK and Ireland sales manager at Flir, said that the company will be holding similar events in 2011 after good feedback from delegates.
