The new Amprobe THWD-3 Measures the Full Range of Relative Humidity and Temperature

With people spending up-to-90 percent of their time indoors, indoor air quality is becoming increasingly important. Amprobe Test Tools introduces the THWD-3, a Relative Humidity Temperature Reader that allows HVAC technicians to maintain optimal comfort levels for building occupants throughout the year.

The Amprobe THWD-3 uses a precision capacitance sensor to deliver accurate performance with long-term stability. This high-accuracy instrument measures the full range of relative humidity from 0-to-100 percent and features an exceptionally wide ambient temperature measurement range from -20 °C (-4 °F) to 60 °C (140 °F).

The sensor is mounted on a long shaft extending from the top surface of the unit, making probing into ductwork and hard to reach areas easy. The large LCD displays two measurements simultaneously with a full range of display options including Hold, Min, Max, Dew Point and Wet Bulb.

Also introduced is the TH-3 Relative Humidity Temperature Reader, which includes all the features of the THWD-3 except the ability to measure Wet Bulb (WB) and Dew Point (DP).

Both The THWD-3 and TH-3 come complete with soft carrying case, sensor cover, battery (installed) and manual.
