New 01005 RK73H1H Size Precision Flat Chip Resistor with 1% Tolerance from KOA Speer
KOA Speer Electronics, Inc. introduces a new smaller sized, precision surface mount resistor with 1% tolerance designed to meet the continuing demand for miniature components for portable devices. KOA Speer’s 01005-RK73H1F device, measuring 0.4 x 0.2 x 0.1 mm, is 55% smaller than an 0201 chip resistor. With more sensitivity to process and design variables, the new 01005(1F) size is suitable for a wide range of applications that require compact, reliable chip surface mount resistors.
KOA Speer’s new thick film 01005-RK73H1F resistor has a power rating of 0.33 Watts, a resistance range of 10W ~ 1M, at ±1% tolerance and a T.C.R. of ±250 ~ ±300ppm/°C. The surface mount resistor is manufactured per KOA Speer’s high performance RK73H standards, and provides superior resistance over standard chip resistors in maximum working voltage. Additionally, the product is available with lead-free terminations to meet EU RoHS requirements.
Used primarily on leading edge portable products where size and/or weight are key selling points, the 01005 size chip surface mount resistor is ideal for applications such as package-on-package (PoP) high density PCBA’s, mobile phones RF modules, micro drives, handheld memory products (SD cards), portable application-mobile phones and digital cameras.
