Touch-Panel PC for Use in Rugged Environments

Aaeon has introduced a 15in rugged touch-panel computer with an Intel Core I7/I5 processor and a QM57 chipset. The AGP-3155 is designed with the intention to withstand a large amount of internal as well as external forces. The computer is equipped with the Intel Core I7/I5 processor and features an integrated LCD/CRT controller in the Intel QM57 chipset. To provide plenty of memory, there are two DDR3 800/1066MHz SODIMM ports (up to 8GByte).

For more expansion, there is a Mini Card and two PCI or two PCIe slots. These PCI/PCIe slots are designed to make the panel PC easy to expand. This unit also offers Gigabit Ethernet and I/O ports, such as two RS-232 ports, one RS-232/422/485 port, six USB 2.0 ports, one line-out/MIC-in/line-in port and one DVI port for flexible expansions. The SSD has two 3.5in SATA hard disk drives, with an optional slim DVD combo.

The IP-65 aluminium die-cast front bezel keeps the AGP-3155 design waterproof and makes the AGP-3155 suitable for use in harsh environments. The AGP-3155 can process a large amount of data, while protecting this power/data from external forces. It is especially suitable for use in rugged environments such as control rooms in automated factories, railway control centres and factory automation.
