Cutting System is Monitored in Real Time

Petra Machines has introduced the Continuous Cutting System (CCS), with fully computerised control and monitoring system, which is designed to cut millions of pieces with guaranteed cost per cut. Petra CCS features Petra band saw machines and tools, accompanied by continuous and online monitoring, as well as control of cutting processes and allied systems. Petra CCS consists of cells, with a designated number of machines in each cell.

The number of cells and machines in cells, as well as specific tools, cutting parameters and workflow, are decided on the basis of in-depth analyses of customer's requirements. During production, all machine functions are constantly monitored in real time through a CCS control and monitoring system.

This system has various modules that provide material input and output management; tool management; workflow management; preventive maintenance management; remote monitoring through an internet connection; machine error management; coolant management; and more. Connectivity to other information systems is also available. Petra continuous cutting systems are designed in accordance with specific cutting needs, such as the cutting capacity on a per-day or per-month basis, and carries guaranteed per cut cost.
