Relays Control Resistance-Inductive Receive

TME's R5 series relays are used for controlling the power of resistance of resistance-inductive electric energy receivers via SSR semi-conductor relays or at direct load connection. They perform group control (to control SSR relays with switching on at zero voltage) R5-G-10 model or phase (to control SSR relays with switching on at any time) - R5-P-10 model. Both types are applicable in the control systems of: electric furnaces temperature; seam or spot welders; transformers primary side voltage; illumination control; fans and mixers; and rotary speed.

These models offer selected input control signal type by DIP switch located inside the device. The access to configuration relays is possible after removal of the right casing shield. The following signals can be selected as an entry input control signal: 0-5V DC; 0-10V DC; 0-20mA; 4-20mA; 10kohm potentiometer. The R5 series potentiometers' dimensions are: 23 x 62 x 63mm, which, combined with controller's power consumption lower than 2.5VA and the bare weight of 67g, make them suitable for applications requiring small size and low power consumption. Both models are placed in a plastic casing adapted for the assembly on a DIN bus.
