Band Saw has Adjustable Blade Attack Angle

Petra Machines' new DC420V Toolmaster has a capacity of 420 x 420mm and is able to cut solids as well as sections, such as I beams, angles, tubes/pipes and so on, with ease. The DC420V Toolmaster band saw is designed to offer more flexibility to tool makers, steel traders and workers in general engineering workshops, where there is a variety of things to cut, such as rounds, plates, hex, tubes, angles, I-beams and so on. It is designed to be able to change its blade attack angle, from 0 to 3.5deg, to suit the cutting application.

Movement of the blade guide is automatic and moves along with the vice. The machine is equipped with load/force mechanism on both blade guides, to negotiate the cutting of wide-size solid jobs and to control cutting conditions at entry and exit of hollow sections. Machine arm movement is based on Petra's dual-column platform, which ensures slip-free movement and offers a smooth and vibration-free cutting environment.

The DC420V's 4kw helical drive engine generates more than enough power for cutting a 420 x 420mm area with optimal cutting parameters. Its robust construction, of integrated support table with rollers, makes it easy to set a heavy-duty job. The control console on the machine's front door is designed so that the operator may be more comfortable.
