JBJ Offers Noise Reduction for Hydraulic Equipment
A retrofit noise reduction system from JBJ makes it possible for users to reduce the total noise emission level of a case aluminium bellhousing in critical frequency ranges by more than 10dB. The company said this reduction is clearly audible to the human ear. In line with EC Directive Noise (2003/10/EG), the retrofitting measures are intended to resolve acute problems caused by poor soundproofing and vibration damping, including problems that occur in hydraulic apparatus already in use.
The noise reduction system (NRS) features a 3D high-density polyester structure; is tear proof and temperature resistant from -40C to +120C; is resistant to most currently available hydraulic oil types; and is easy to fit and 100 per cent recyclable. The system is available in four different system widths and three lengths for retrofitting or as original equipment.
