Facom Catalogue Features The Latest Hand Tools

Hand tool manufacturer Facom has launched its 2011 UK catalogue, which details products including ratchets and sockets, wrenches, storage units, screwdrivers and hex keys, lighting and power tools. The 'Innovations' catalogue offers information on the newest tools in Facom's product range, designed to meet the needs of end users in all fields - including automotive inspection and repair, heavy-goods vehicles (HGVs), electrical, electronic, aerospace and industrial maintenance and production.

Products included in the new edition of 'Innovations' include the E.316 series of torque and angle wrenches. The products are designed for use in situations where accuracy and control are paramount considerations, and all of the wrenches exceed ISO1711-1 standards. The company's Protwist Shock range of screwdrivers is designed to withstand hammer blows, while a special polyamide core between the blade and the metal cap insert reduces rebound and vibration in the hand for increased comfort and efficiency.

Facom also offers a jack incorporating a safety locking feature. The DL.200SPB, listed in 'Innovations', features a locking mechanism to improve safety for end users. The DM.FR1 diesel filter removal socket and the DM.FR2 diesel filter removal cup wrench enable users to change diesel filters and filter papers without the risk of damage.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays.
