LED Feature Light For Indoor And Outdoor Use

Aerco is offering an LED high-bay feature light from Dialight that can replace conventional lighting in indoor and outdoor industrial applications, such as warehouses, garages, bridges and tunnels. The HB series features a low-profile, lightweight design and versatile mounting options. The feature light brings the normal advantages of LED technology in terms of instant switching, low power consumption, long life and low operational and maintenance costs while producing an excellent light quality, according to the company.

The HB series is UL, CSA and CE approved. It conforms to Nema 4X and is mercury free and IP66 rated. The lamp has a high level of resistance to shock and vibration. Temperature compensation technology means that the lamps maintain more than 80 per cent of their light output after 60,000 hours. Various types of mounts and fittings are available, including pendant mount, swivel bracket and cable gland, ceiling mount, cable gland, loop and plug and hook and plug.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
